Profile and Technology

Gate Television s.r.o. is a company specialising in production of promotional and advertising films, television commercials, documentaries and reports, 2D and 3D animations, catalogues, brochures, advertising articles. We also take photographs of products, technologies and aerial photographs.

History

Our work started in 1995-96: under the name of VNTV Nový Jičín we participated in creating local television stations in Nový Jičín, Frenštát pod Radhoštem and Rožnov pod Radhoštem. At the same time we worked together with regional studio TV Sever in Ostrava. In 1998 we established a limited company named /Gate Television/.

Cooperation

At present we cooperate with local regional television studios in the area of northern and  central Moravia, for the Czech Television we contributed to the program Toulavá kamera (A Wandering Camera). In cooperation with TV Morava we produce news reporting and provide television broadcasting in Hranice. 

We are cooperating with many importend company and institution Visteon Autopal Nový Jičín, Philip Morris, GDX, Hella Autotechnik Mohelnice, LG. Philips Displays Components Hranice, Thermacut Uherské Hradiště, Euroregion Beskydy, municipalities of Frýdek Místek and Nový Jičín and many others.

We were part of the creation of the Film school in Nový Jičín, located and cooperating with the SVČ (Free Time Center) Fokus, which we professionally control and technically and economically support.

Technology

The studio is equipped with professional technology of HD – picture with high definition (HD). Material recorded in HD provides five times more pixels than traditional PAL. That means that the picture quality is incomparably better. For recording we use the professional camera Sony PDW-700 recording in the format XDCAM HD422.

Processing takes place on computer Real-Time editing suites in full HD quality.

The versatility of computer technology enables us to further process the recorded materials using standard post-production techniques such as chroma-keying, picture compositing, film tricks and special effects. 3D graphics are used to animate company logos, for modeling or for visualisation of products, machines or buildings, etc.

The final product can be supplied in the following formats: XDCAM HD422, XDCAM EX, HDCAM, HDV, DVCAM, DIGITAL BETACAM, Blu-ray, DVD and also CD-ROM for use in PC´s.

We are prepared for HDTV, at present we are able to make animated video clips in this format.
